In an age of rapid technological development, dialogue between countries is necessary to develop a common course that meets the interests of all parties. This was stated to RT by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Alexei Chepa, commenting on the words of the French Minister of Defense Florence Parley that Paris favors a dialogue with Moscow on geostrategic challenges.
Earlier, Parley noted that France intends to conduct a dialogue with Russia on geostrategic challenges, specifying that Paris is interested in a frank and demanding conversation on important topics.
“Now there is a turbulent century in the development of various technologies, natural threats to the arms race are appearing … Therefore, dialogue between countries is necessary, it is necessary to develop a common course, a common direction that will correspond to the interests of each country,” Chepa said.
The deputy stressed that it is unacceptable for the world to develop in the interests of one or more individual countries. “We need comprehensive development in the interests of all mankind,” he added.
