Anton Morozov: “The requirement of the United States to disclose the income of Vladimir Putin – interference in the affairs of the Russian Federation”

MP from the LDPR faction, member of the Committee on International Affairs Anton Morozov believes that the bill of the House of Representatives of the US Congress obliging the director of the United States National Intelligence to submit to the legislators a detailed report on the income and assets of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin looks like interference in the internal affairs of Russia. This MP said “Duma TV”.

“As for claims to the head of state (Vladimir Putin. – Ed.) And his entourage in terms of personal well-being, this, of course, is puzzling, because this is a purely internal matter for the Russian Federation and smacks of interference in internal affairs, which is prohibited by international law and the UN Charter, ”said Anton Morozov.

As for the bill, which requires the Director of National Intelligence of the United States to prepare a report on the military threat from Russia for the United States and NATO within 90 days, Morozov stressed, “The Russian Armed Forces have a sole deterrent in the possible opposition of aggression by certain states “.

“Russia purposefully strengthens its defense capability and increases modern types of weapons, but (…) we do not pursue an aggressive foreign policy and do not threaten anyone, so of course they (the USA. – Ed.) Can conduct research, it’s their business, ”said Morozov.

Earlier, TASS reported that the House of Representatives of the United States Congress on Tuesday, March 12, unanimously approved a bill obliging the Director of National Intelligence of the United States to submit to the legislators a detailed report on the income and assets of President Vladimir Putin.

It should be noted that in accordance with Russian legislation, the head of state annually reports on his income, property and large expenses.
