Anton Morozov: “The withdrawal of Americans from a nuclear deal, as well as Israel’s enrichment of uranium above the level of 3.67%, is fraught with major security problems”

Anton Morozov, a member of the State Duma’s international affairs committee, commented in a conversation with RT on the statement by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi that the country decided to begin uranium enrichment above the 3.67% level envisaged by the nuclear deal.

“From the US side, the exit from the nuclear deal is very irresponsible, because it was agreed upon at the cost of tremendous efforts. By itself, the output leads to great consequences, including pushing Iran to enrich uranium above permissible limits, ”the deputy said.

According to Morozov, this situation causes concern to the entire world community and to Russia. “We are committed to the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. Russia constantly calls on American partners to sit down at the negotiating table and work out new parameters for a nuclear deal. It is impossible to start and ignore this process. This is fraught with major security problems in the Middle East and in the world at large,” he said.
