Anton Morozov following the President’s Address: “Americans will not succeed in sitting behind the backs of Europeans”

Member of the Committee on International Affairs, MP Anton Morozov:

“For the first time in the President’s Address it was said that, in the event of war there will be destroyed not only missile launchers, but also “decision-making centers”. In fact, it means that Americans will not be able to sit behind the backs of Europeans. After all, it is in Europe that the US plans to deploy medium and short-range missiles after exiting the INF. And this is fraught with the complete destruction of some European states in the event of war.

“Unlike Europeans, we will not allow infringement of the right to our security” – is an absolutely accurate statement. The President refers to European countries that are moving in the wake of the US policy and allow the deployment of bases on their territories, followed by possiblу deployment of rockets. Their own safety suffers from this, but they ignore it. We can’t allow that to happen to ourselves. President Putin has shown that he is determined and will not allow the rights of our citizens to security get infringed. At the same time, he once again emphasized that Russia does not threaten anyone”.
