Disciplined execution of all necessary rules will give results in the fight against coronavirus, State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina told Nation News.
She recalled that on March 31 the parliament toughened the punishment for violation of sanitary-epidemiological rules. Now, for the “escape” from quarantine, the maximum punishment will be two million rubles or imprisonment for up to seven years.
Moreover, the example of China, where citizens disciplinedly followed all the prescribed measures, the deputy said, showed that in this way you can achieve the best result. The peak of the epidemic in this country was passed on March 12th. “If we want to achieve the best result, then we must obey. Because, probably for the first time, in many, many years, such decisions and such rules are adopted in our country, ”the parliamentarian emphasized.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the end of March, more than five hundred Russians violated coronavirus quarantine.
