Natalya Poklonskaya commented on the words of Poroshenko about Crimea RIA News

Natalya Poklonskaya, deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma’s foreign affairs committee, commenting on the words of the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko about Crimea, said that he has a chance to tell the truth to the whole world about his actions against the Crimeans.

Earlier, the ex-president of Ukraine said that Kiev now has a “unique chance” to strengthen the solidarity of the international community and “return” Crimea, since Russia is allegedly “unable” to provide funding for the peninsula.

“The Prosecutor General of Ukraine has a unique chance to imprison one of the main traitors, deceivers and the killer of the Ukrainian people – Poroshenko. If he wants to talk about Crimea, then let him tell the truth to the whole world. About how he got rid of objectionable Crimeans and earned on civil war “- said RIA Novosti Poklonskaya.

She stressed that with great pleasure will participate in the interrogation or “interview” Poroshenko.

“Knowing how cowardly Poroshenko is, I think he would rather eat all his sweets than agree in the same studio or in the same office to recall the events of 2013-2014,” the deputy said.

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, in which 96.77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6% of residents of Sevastopol voted in favor of joining Russia. Ukraine still considers Crimea its, but temporarily occupied territory. The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that Crimean residents democratically, in full accordance with international law and the UN Charter, voted to reunite with Russia. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the issue of Crimea is “completely closed.”
