Sergey Zheleznyak: Part of the IMF tranche Ukraine will return the US and Europe

The State Duma called the IMF program financial aid to Ukraine as a handout, a REGNUM correspondent reported December 19.

“Ukrainian authorities begged from the IMF a program of financial assistance in the amount of $ 3.9 billion. This long-awaited handout is the reason for the surge of Russophobic hysteria and all the anti-Russian provocations Kiev is taking to please its sponsors in order to prove loyalty and readiness to continue to provoke Russia, ”said Sergei Zheleznyak (“ United Russia ”), a member of the Duma’s international affairs committee.

Military provocation, militarization and mobilization of Ukraine, intimidation of Ukrainians by a non-existent Russian aggression, an attempt to unleash a religious split in Ukraine and even the next anti-Russian UN resolution pushed through the United States – all these are links of one chain, more precisely, the financial restraint Kiev throws on the population of Ukraine, plunging the country endless debts to the West, said the parliamentarian.

“There is no doubt that even that part of the next tranche, which will not be pushed into the pockets of the top authorities, will not solve the problems of Ukrainians, but will return to the United States and Europe in the form of overpayment for expensive energy resources,” Zheleznyak stressed.
