Yuri Oleinikov appreciated the idea of convening an international provocation tribunal in the Kerch Strait

The first deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Yuri Oleinikov discussed with RIA FAN the proposal of the Crimean authorities to convene an international tribunal to investigate the incident in the Kerch Strait, which occurred last fall.

The legislator expressed confidence that Russia has every reason to make claims against Kiev for that provocation. In addition to her, there are a number of other issues that require proceedings.

In particular, we are talking about the water and energy blockade of the Crimean peninsula from the Nezalezhnaya side.

“The deputy from the Crimea, Natalya Poklonskaya, who knows well the legal features of all these aggressive actions on the part of Ukraine, will deal with these issues,” the parliamentarian explained.

He added that now the main task is to develop the Crimea and build normal and pragmatic relations with Ukraine.
