Leonid Slutsky: “The introduction of sanctions against Belarus in connection with the migration crisis is a hypocritical attempt to shift responsibility”

Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs: “The imposition of sanctions against Belarus in connection with the migration crisis is a hypocritical attempt to shift responsibility for the consequences of the colonialist policy of the collective West in recent history.

Not to mention, this is a bad start for dialogue. No restrictions against the Belarusian authorities will help to restore life in Iraq, Syria and other countries destroyed by Western “civilizers”. Nor will they help refugees to return to their homes or find new ones.

In fact, Minsk is now “punished” for the result of the actions of numerous coalitions led by the United States. The West, ostensibly planting democracies around the world, is actually trying to take revenge by establishing hegemony. Along the way, however, shifting the “collateral damage” to others.
