Dmitry Novikov took part in the inauguration of the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro

Nicholas Maduro took the presidency after his convincing victory during the presidential elections last year.

The events were held against the backdrop of an active anti-Venezuelan campaign launched by Washington. Not so long ago, the adviser to the US president Bolton declared Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua a “triumvirate of tyranny.”

The inaugural procedure was carried out in the building of the Supreme Court of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Delegations from many countries of the world, including the heads of Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and El Salvador, arrived to take part in it. In addition to the Russian and Belarusian delegations, the presidents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia participated in the events in Caracas.

After formally taking the oath as president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro and all the participants in the ceremony will move to the Military Academy, where the Armed Forces of the country took the oath of allegiance to the lawfully elected president.

After the completion of the activities of D.G. Novikov flew to Managua to participate in the Forum of Peace and Solidarity with Nicaragua.
