The German delegation will arrive in Crimea to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the reunification of the peninsula with Russia. This was stated by the chairman of the parliamentary committee on inter-ethnic relations Yuri Hempel.
According to him, it will include representatives of German public associations and journalists. They will meet with the leaders of the Crimean parliament, as well as take part in celebrations.
“The arrival of foreign delegations from Europe is the recognition of Crimea as an integral part of the Russian Federation,” said Gempel to RIA Novosti.
We will remind that earlier the French delegation arrived in Crimea. Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Duma’s international affairs committee, called the visit of French politicians “a fact-finding mission.”
Note that the celebrations in the Crimea and Sevastopol will be held from 15 to 18 March.
