The Serbian official’s calls for restrictive measures against Moscow are explained by pressure on Belgrade from the Western world. This opinion was shared by the Russian parliamentarian Alexei Chepa.
Earlier, the head of the Serbian economic department, Rade Basta, called on Belgrade to join the anti-Russian sanctions, as the country can no longer withstand the European onslaught. Chepa, during a conversation with Lenta.ru correspondents, said that the position of a civil servant is understandable.
“Now the West is setting tough demands, and we will see how Serbia can withstand it,” he added.
