Aleksey Chepa: the UN Security Council will ignore Kyiv’s call to exclude Russia from the organization

The United Nations will not heed the call of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on the need to exclude Russia from the UN Security Council, Aleksey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Deputy Head of the A JUST RUSSIA FOR TRUTH faction, is sure.

The MP warned that the world would face serious consequences in the event of such an outcome.

“Such stupid statements will not be heeded. Russia’s participation is very important for the UN, and the organization itself, which many figures are trying to discredit, is a structure that served to maintain peace on Earth. The issues of its reorganization are fraught with very serious consequences for the world as a whole,” said the parliamentarian.

If Russia is excluded from the UN, the world is threatened with international conflicts that will arise if the world does not live according to laws, but according to the rules that are created and changed by the United States in their interests, he is sure.

At the same time, Oleksiy Chepa stressed that dialogue within the UN framework is of critical importance for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. Thus, as the deputy stated, Russia’s exclusion from the UN Security Council is impossible.
