First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexei Chepa, in an interview with RT, commented on the statement by the head of the sanctions department of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, Pia Saarivaara, that Russian assets worth € 187 million were frozen in Finland.
“They have been talking about this “action” for a long time. This has already had a certain impact on the Finnish economy. These actions will definitely not contribute to our relations in the future and will not play in the interests of Finland, just ordinary people, ”the parliamentarian believes.
Earlier, the Finnish Foreign Ministry announced the freezing of Russian assets in the amount of €187 million.
In December, Anatoly Aksakov, chairman of the State Duma committee on the financial market, told RT that Russia would sue Western countries over frozen assets.
