Alexey Chepa: “No one knows” what US laboratories are doing in other countries

US activities in biolaboratories continue to be hidden under the cover of secrecy, said Alexei Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Izvestia reports on May 27.

According to him, “everything that is being done is secret research in the interests of the operational tasks of the Americans. In part, they give some information about their activities, but globally, no one knows,” Chepa said.

In his opinion, the leadership of the countries in which American laboratories are located may not know who is doing what at these facilities. Including, under the guise of the fight against AIDS, “anything you want” can be studied, Chepa noted.

Including, these laboratories can study the possibility of organizing outbreaks of new diseases or something else. Such activity is found in Ukraine, Chepa points out, but American colleagues do not comment on these circumstances.

The MP also noted that the Americans continue to interfere with the resumption of work on a legally binding protocol to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction (BTWC).
