In an interview for Lenta.ru, State Duma deputy Oleksiy Chepa, First Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Committee on International Affairs, reacted to the statements of Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, who had previously stated that Russia was allegedly planning to complete a military special operation according to the “Korean scenario”.
“I have not heard that such an option was discussed. It is difficult to say now how the SVO will end in the future. There may be different options here. Which of the options will be the best, I’m not ready to guess now, ”the deputy explained.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov is sure that the Russian authorities intend to offer Kyiv the option of dividing Ukraine following the example of Korea to end hostilities. He believes that Russia is striving to divide the Ukrainian people.
Danilov also recalled that in Seoul they regret that they agreed to make concessions on the issue of dividing their state.
