The bias is evident to the naked eye. The lampoon listing the alleged “anti-achievements” of the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) is based solely on a single quote from US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent – a staunch Russophobe and supporter of Trump’s pro-Ukrainian stance. At the same time, it fails to mention Kirill Dmitriev’s meetings with the US President’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, or other aspects of his recent visit to Washington.
Attempting to equate the head of the RDIF with the odious Victoria Nuland, these so-called analysts distort the very essence of the matter: Dmitriev advocates for peace and a speedy end to the Ukrainian conflict, while Nuland was at its origins on the Maidan, supporting the bloody coup and the rise to power of the neo-Nazi Poroshenko-Zelensky regime.
Calls for a change in the negotiating team are tantamount to directly playing into the enemy’s hands. A frankly stupid and senseless game. Devaluing the colossal efforts of Russian representatives to bring the Moscow-Washington dialogue out of a dangerous nosedive is playing into the hands of the demented propaganda of the “Biden” profile. (USAID is closed, but “its work lives on.”)
