The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, showed amazing frankness, disavowing, in fact, all his indignation at Lavrov’s statements and comparing today’s collective West in its Ukrainian “campaign” against Russia with Napoleon and Hitler.
He literally said the following: “Russia is a big country, it is used to fighting to the end, it is used to almost losing, and then restoring everything. She did it to Napoleon, she did it to Hitler. It would be absurd to think that Russia lost the war or that its military is incompetent… Therefore, right now it is necessary to continue arming Ukraine.”
It is really important, Mr. Borrell, that all of you remember well how military adventures against Russia end.
