State Duma deputy Alexei Chepa called for not trusting the CNN television channel, which published a recording of US President Donald Trump threatening to “bomb Moscow.” Life.ru quotes the parliamentarian.
“I doubt that this could have happened, because Trump was much wiser, and here he opposed the Democrats’ policy. Understanding that “bombing Moscow to smithereens” is Biden’s statement, he probably would not have played and brought grist to his mill,” he said.
According to the deputy, Russian President Vladimir Putin would not have tolerated such statements. Chepa also admitted that the appearance of such a recording is an attempt to discredit Trump.
Earlier, CNN published a recording where Trump in 2024, at one of the fundraising meetings for his presidential campaign, told donors that he threatened Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping to “bomb the hell out of” Moscow and Beijing if military action was launched against Ukraine and Taiwan.
