First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexey Chepa said that Russia’s response to the attack of Ukrainian armed forces on the Kursk region must be tough and effective.
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov previously said that the head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin had made a decision on the response to the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region.
Commenting on Antonov’s statement, Chepa, a member of the lower house of the Russian parliament, said that there is different information, including from sources of the Russian Defense Ministry, about what forces are involved, when the Ukrainian Nazis will be expelled from Russian territory, and what is happening.
As Chepa noted, it is unclear what the plans will be, but they must be tough. According to the parliamentarian, Russian citizens and Russian regions are suffering because of the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, people are starting to worry, this is all visible.
“Therefore, the responses must be tough, effective and fast,” Chepa said in a conversation with Lenta.ru.
