Anton Morozov: “Russia does not accept ultimatums”

In an interview with RIA Novosti, a member of the State Duma’s international affairs committee, Anton Morozov, responded to an ultimatum put forward by Russia by Donald Trump’s special envoy for arms control, Marshall Billingsley.

Morozov stressed that the language of ultimatums is not suitable for international relations, especially in the case of Russia and the United States. Countries should develop a treaty base on arms limitation, as they are responsible for world security, he said. “Therefore, we consider this approach unconstructive, Russia does not accept ultimatums,” he concluded.
