Member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, deputy of the LDPR Duma faction Anton Morozov took part in the 5th annual conference of the public organization of Great Britain “Westminster Forum on Russia”, which was held on December 11 in London online and was dedicated to improving international relations
The public organization of Great Britain “Westminster Forum on Russia” regularly holds events aimed at objective coverage of the socio-political life of our country, the formation of a positive image of Russia among the British and the strengthening of bilateral Russian-British relations.
In addition to Anton Morozov, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, the conference was also attended by Russian Ambassador to Great Britain Andrei Kelin and 180 people from 12 countries. 47 participants spoke on a wide range of issues in the fields of politics, security, culture and sports, trade and business development, promotion of public diplomacy.
Anton Morozov, as a practical step to improve Russian-British relations, spoke about the LDPR’s plans to send a factional delegation to this country, which would help resolve a number of contradictions in relations between our countries on the basis of the principles of mutual respect and understanding.
The head of the International Department of the Central Asian Liberal Democratic Party, Valery Voronin, also took part in the meeting of the “round table” dedicated to the prospects for the development of relations between East and West.
