“It’s time to come to an agreement” – Anton Morozov considered the invitation of US Ambassador Sullivan to the Kremlin a positive signal

Member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Anton Moozov considers the invitation of the US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan to a meeting with Vladimir Putin’s aide as a positive signal. The parliamentarian shared his thoughts in an interview with Life.

“I think that the time has come to come to an agreement. The path of confrontation has completely exhausted itself, and Washington understands this,” he says.

Morozov named Yuri Ushakov, who will meet with Sullivan, a very experienced diplomat who is able to build a dialogue and work out a mutually acceptable scheme, if not a full restoration of relations, then at least a gradual rapprochement of positions between Russia and the United States. The deputy added that the low level of bilateral ties slows down many processes not only between our states, but throughout the world as a whole.

“American corporations, especially IT ones, have a serious interest in the territory of the Russian Federation, and for them this is a serious consumer market, where they sell their products, their software, various gadgets. We have so far refrained from retaliatory sanctions, but nevertheless, we could would restrict the activities of American companies in our market, that is, they also need us, “added Life’s interlocutor.
