Dmitry Belik assessed Trump’s position on new regions of the Russian Federation

The head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, should acknowledge the real situation following Donald Trump. This opinion was expressed by Dmitry Belik, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, commenting on the position of the elected US president.

Earlier, his future national security adviser Mike Waltz said that Trump understands the unrealistic idea of completely ousting Russia from all former territories of Ukraine. The elected US leader, according to him, acknowledged this reality, after which the whole world will recognize it.

Belik, commenting on this topic for RT, called this position “an objective view of reality.” Such a healthy approach, the parliamentarian stated, is alien to the Kyiv regime and its Western masters. He advised Zelensky and his curators to adopt Trump’s approach and “come down to earth” in order to achieve peace with Russia.

To do this, Belik believes, it will be necessary to move away from populism and speculative statements about new territories of the Russian Federation. The demonstrative persistence of Kyiv and its masters to admit the obvious, he continued, postpones the possibility of concluding a peace agreement.

Earlier, as “RG” wrote, the statements about Trump’s position were commented on by State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet, who believes that the elected US president is showing a “realistic vision of the future.” He called the recognition of the Russian status of Crimea, as well as our new regions, by the new US administration a logical continuation.
