Dmitry Belik: F-16 deliveries to Kyiv are a new twist in the struggle between Russia and the West

The arrival of American F-16 fighters in Ukraine is a new round of global confrontation between Russia and the West, said Dmitry Belik, a State Duma deputy from Sevastopol and member of the International Affairs Committee.

According to him, “the delivery of F-16s has turned Zelensky’s head so much that he has lost his bearings in the military-political space.”

At the same time, the deputy calls for “not discounting” the F-16s, RIA Novosti reports.

“These are serious opponents for our troops, but we will overcome this line of confrontation,” Belik is convinced.

The deputy emphasized that Russia is taking the blow, drawing conclusions and launching a counterattack. Zelensky, according to him, “will remain flying in the clouds when all the F-16s crash to the ground.”

The Ukrainian president, who has lost his legitimacy, announced the arrival of these fighters in the country the day before and published a video of a pair of F-16s flying by.
