Dmitry Belik: Kyiv framed NATO countries with its statements about the missile

The Kyiv regime framed NATO countries with its statements about an allegedly Russian missile, Dmitry Belik, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said on November 22, Izvestia reports.

“I would not say that Zelensky drove his partners into a trap, most likely he framed them with his statements that this is a Russian-made missile. Even the fans of Ukraine in the European Union and the United States could not lie openly,” the deputy noted.

According to him, Kyiv will not be able to seriously change the balance of power in Europe. A number of countries are likely to strengthen their border groupings, first of all it will be Poland, but the direct involvement of the EU countries and the United States in the conflict is not expected.

Recall that earlier a Ukrainian missile fired from an S-300 installation hit Poland. Two people were killed in the attack. Kyiv was quick to blame Moscow for the incident, but NATO countries, including Poland, did not support this version.

Later, The American Conservative magazine wrote that the North Atlantic Alliance was trapped because of the words of Kyiv. According to the observer, it is increasingly difficult for Washington to act in its own interests, instead it risks security for the sake of Eastern European countries.
