The American military corporations and their lobbyists are unlikely to allow any of the American presidents to quickly end this conflict, it is beneficial for them to further escalate it. Therefore, I regard Trump’s statement to end the conflict within 24 hours as nothing more than populism,” Belik stressed.
He also believes that today all foreign policy issues are decided not by the US president, but by lobbyists who are ready to “fight to the blood for their financial interests.”
