Dmitry Belik: Ukrainian grain should not cause problems for European farmers

A member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Dmitry Belik, in a conversation with RT, commented on the statement of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Kyiv will respond in a “civilized” manner to countries that have banned the import of Ukrainian grain in circumvention of the decision of the European Commission.

“Civilization” is, in principle, not a characteristic concept for the Kyiv regime. Threats and ultimatums, with which Zelensky hopes to put pressure on other countries, will lead nowhere,” the parliamentarian believes.

According to him, a number of European countries think rationally and believe that “Ukrainian grain should not cause problems for their farmers.”

“Poland, Hungary, Slovakia – it is possible that the list of countries that put their national interests at the forefront, contrary to the decisions of the European Commission, will increase, but Zelensky’s hysterics do not play any role here,” concluded RT’s interlocutor.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Kyiv would respond in a “civilized” manner to its neighbors who refused grain from Ukraine.
