Maria Butina: after the referendum, the West will refuse to give long-range weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, is sure that the referendums held in the LDNR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will force Europe and the United States not to supply Ukraine with long-range weapons.

Butina believes that after the referendums, Ukraine’s allies will refuse to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with weapons that can hit targets at a considerable distance.

Earlier, political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko noted that there was no strong need for referendums, since the West still does not recognize their results.

“They will find pretexts not to provoke further aggression. Since everyone understands that the consequences for the West, primarily for Europe, will be catastrophic,” URA.RU quoted the deputy as saying.

Butina is sure that the results of the referendums in the historical perspective will prove to the whole world the correctness and legitimacy of Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
