Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, told RIA Novosti that Lithuania is changing legislation to persecute ethnic Russians.
Let us recall that earlier the Lithuanian Seimas in its resolution called Russia a state “supporting and carrying out terrorism.”
“I believe that this decision has far-reaching plans. They are going to build their legislation in such a way as to find even more loopholes in it for the prosecution of our compatriots, ethnically Russians, as already terrorists. By raising the stakes and coming up with new measures to develop Nazism in their own country,” Butina said.
She stressed that this is completely unacceptable, but the West will not pay attention to it.
“Naturally, the world community represented by the West is outraged only when they need to impose sanctions against Russia. And the fact that frank Nazism is flourishing and spreading under their noses does not interest them at all, ”the deputy pointed out.
Earlier, Butina supported a law banning Russophobes from entering Russia: “Do not give offense to any of ours.”
