Maria Butina positively assessed the special operation to save the Donbass

Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, considers the special operation to save the Donbass to be correct. She said that in Russia it is not customary to leave your own.

“Of course, we couldn’t just stand, watch and do nothing. We don’t abandon ours. Everything is completely logical and natural,” Politika Segodnya quotes the statement of the people’s choice.

On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree recognizing the DPR and LPR as independent states, and two days later, in an address to the citizens of the country, he announced the start of a special operation to save the Donbass. The president’s decision was supported by the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko.
