Maria Butina recalled the consequences for countries after US intervention

The states in which the United States arranged democracy were always deprived of territories, and NATO and the collective West were preparing the same scenario for Kyiv. This was stated by a member of the United Russia faction, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Maria Butina, commenting on the statement by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, about Poland’s plans to control part of the territory of Ukraine.

The head of state noted that some international platforms were originally created to influence the post-Soviet space.

History is as old as the world. If you look at those countries where the United States built “democracy”, you will see that all these countries turned out to be fragmented and, in fact, lost their territories … The fate that is being prepared for Ukraine was planned by NATO and the collective West according to this scenario, the RIA Novosti parliamentarian quotes.

According to her, it is too early to draw conclusions that Ukraine will lose part of the territory.

Of course, the state of Ukraine, within the borders that it currently has, must be preserved … The Russian leadership sees this situation (which Naryshkin reported about), draws conclusions, and is sure that measures will be taken. Ukraine is our closest neighbor, summed up Maria Butina.
