Maria Butina spoke out against softening the law on foreign agents

State Duma deputy and public figure Maria Butina, in an interview with RT, expressed the opinion that there is no need to soften the law on foreign agents. According to her, the need for the law is due to the fact that the world is in a state of information war.

“The correct qualifying attribute (of a foreign agent – RT) is in whose interests you are working. Today, all countries are adopting tough laws on foreign agents. We live in a state of information war, and so do all other countries. Therefore, it is wrong to say that we will soften the law on foreign agents, ”Butina said.

She added that all those who disagree with the presented status of a foreign agent can challenge the decision of the Ministry of Justice in court.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Justice added to the register of media outlets performing the functions of a foreign agent.
