Elena Panina: “A new wave of refugees can pour into Europe because of US threats”

The United States by threatening with new attacks on Syria, wants to destabilize the situation on the world stage, this may lead to a new flow of refugees to Europe, in particular, to Germany. This opinion was shared by Elena Panina, member of the Committee on International Affairs.

“Now Syrian refugees have not yet rushed to Europe, but from the point of view of American strategists, this is another stroke on Europe, primarily on Germany,” Elena Paninasaid.

“Today, European countries do not want refugees on any terms,” – the deputy added. This is pressure on Merkel who does not always agree to conduct policy under the USA orders.”

Elena Panina is sure that in case of new US attacks on Syria, the flow of refugees will also occur in Turkey and in a number of other countries.

Earlier US National Security Adviser John Bolton said at a meeting with Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev that the United States was ready to strike at the Syrian Arab Army if it starts using chemical weapons. On Saturday, August 25, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the States are increasing the grouping of carriers of cruise missiles at the borders of Syria.
