Elena Panina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, appreciated the words of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Alexander Bankov, who said that Kiev could defeat Moscow in an information war with the help of brains and creativity. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“If we understand by“ brains ”responsibility, intellectual potential, then the very fact of such statements speaks of their absence from the Ukrainian official who dreams of“ defeating Russia, ”” Panina said.
In her opinion, creativity in Ukraine is called “a kind of foreign policy clowning, attempts to artistically imitate peace-loving aspirations, to mislead the world community and their own voters.”
Earlier, Bankov said that Ukrainian diplomats should promote the image of their country: hold more public events, more often go to the information space in order “to neutralize what Russian propaganda is imposing on the local audience about Ukraine.”
On March 9, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
