According to his contemporaries, Forrestal kept repeating “The Russians are coming! They are everywhere! “, And then in March 1949 he committed suicide,” said Panina.
At the same time, according to Panina, there is a significant difference between the post-war United States of Harry Truman and what we are seeing now.
