Shamsail Saraliyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand in the State Duma

The State Duma hosted a meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation, Mr. Sasivat Wongsinsawat, and the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Shamsail Saraliyev.

Issues of international relations, the potential for interaction between Russia and Thailand in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, political and economic issues were discussed.

Sh.Yu. Saraliev commented on the results of the meeting:

– Mr. Ambassador and I agreed that the State Duma and the Parliament of Thailand should establish closer relations in order to establish cooperation in various fields.

Strong diplomatic relations have been established between Russia and Thailand, which were built and developed on the basis of mutual respect.

I told Mr. Sasivat Wongsinsawat that the State Duma, within the framework of inter-parliamentary cooperation, has created and is functioning deputy friendship groups for relations with the parliaments of foreign countries. They are created in order to maintain contacts with colleagues, deputies of parliaments of foreign countries, for joint cooperation and strengthening of ties. Since I am the coordinator of the friendship and cooperation group with the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of the Philippines, we plan to hold a meeting in the near future, Mr. Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand expressed a desire to take part in it, and we will definitely invite him.

We discussed the situation in Ukraine with Mr. Ambassador. Today, the hostile Western world openly supports the Nazi regime in Ukraine. In the early 2000s, the West also provided support to terrorists in Chechnya, but did so covertly. At that time, the Chechen Republic, destroyed as a result of hostilities, was filled with international terrorist organizations supported by special services from 51 countries of the world. Extremists regularly staged terrorist attacks, killed everyone who worked for Russia at that time, calling them traitors. Our region has demonstrated to the whole world a unique experience in combating the ideology of terrorism. Thanks to the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov and the Head of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov, we managed to defeat international terrorism, and today the Chechen Republic is one of the safest, most prosperous and prosperous regions of Russia, where crime reduced to zero and there are no traces of war. We are ready to share our experience.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand showed interest in the history of the Chechen Republic and said that he had studied the issue of reconciliation and subsequent restoration of the region, and that this experience could be useful for all countries, including Thailand.

As we know, a special ASEAN summit was held in Washington last week, where the US actively promoted the anti-Russian agenda and made unreasonable attempts to persuade the Thai authorities to efforts to isolate Russia. However, the United States did not achieve its goals.

The entire world community is gradually coming to the conclusion that the regime formed by the United States is an empire of hypocrisy and lies.

Ignoring the norms of international law, the United States unleashed large-scale wars on the territory of sovereign states, leaving behind assassinated presidents, plundered resources, and millions of dead people. The American world order is military intervention and numerous, regular crimes against humanity.

We see how today in Western countries subject to the US regime any norms of morality and ethics are being discredited, double standards are flourishing under the guise of democracy and freedom of speech.
Russia has advocated and continues to advocate a multipolar world, for a system of international relations where no state forms a monopoly on decision-making in world politics.
