The West is doing with Ukraine what it tried to do with Chechnya in the 1990s: it provokes fighting “to the last Ukrainian,” as it once forced the Chechen people to fight Russia “to the last Chechen.” And the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on the recognition of the “sovereignty” of Ichkeria is a manifestation of the impotence of the Ukrainian authorities, Shamsail Saraliyev, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, a deputy from the Chechen Republic, said in a conversation with URA.RU.
“In the 90s, Chechnya was thrown into the heat of war on the instructions of Western curators who dream of dividing Russia. Western forces sponsored and supported the military actions, they needed the Chechen people to fight against Russia “to the last Chechen”, just as they now support their Ukrainian puppets and provoke them to fight “to the last Ukrainian”. This was and is their true goal,” said Shamsail Saraliyev.
Speaking about the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on the recognition of the sovereignty of Ichkeria, the deputy stressed that it should not be taken seriously. “The resolution adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the recognition of the ‘sovereignty’ of the long-defunct Republic of Ichkeria cannot be taken seriously. This is a “dummy” from a legal point of view, and besides, it is a manifestation of the impotence of the Ukrainian authorities, which has nothing to do with concern for the fate of the Chechen people, ”the parliamentarian explained.
