Sergei Zheleznyak described Bulgaria’s unfounded accusations against Russia as “a theater of absurdity and political provocation”

Sergei Zheleznyak, a member of the international affairs committee, called the accusations that, in his opinion, Bulgaria unfoundedly puts forward against Russia, the theater of absurdity and political provocation.

The deputy noted: “It is not the first time that the Bulgarian authorities have become a puppet in someone else’s political game directed against Russia. The accusations of the participation of our country in the explosions of military warehouses, put forward by the leadership of Bulgaria, are absolutely groundless and have nothing to do with really. The wordless statements of the official Sofia, formulated as tracing paper following the Czech Republic according to the US scenario, will have negative consequences for bilateral relations between Russia and Bulgaria. ”

“It is obvious that Russia will always have to respond appropriately to unfriendly actions of foreign authorities. It is deeply disappointing that Bulgaria has joined the anti-Russian campaign. We are very sorry that the friendly people of Bulgaria are trying to turn against Russia with the help of a disgusting staging. I am convinced that ordinary citizens of Bulgaria are well aware of the absurdity of the accusations against Russians. We do not identify the leadership of the official Sofia with the people of Bulgaria, ”the politician emphasized.
