“In the course of today’s direct line of the President of Russia, most of the issues were naturally connected with the protection of the rights of Russians, the correction of injustice and distortions committed by local officials. Vladimir Vladimirovich once again had to solve the problems of citizens, which were not solved properly in the regions and municipalities. I would like to note the President’s principled position on the inadmissibility of discrimination against people because of the vaccination campaign in connection with the coronavirus, especially at the moment, and the threats of dismissal of those who have medical contraindications. Everyone in their activities should be guided by the law, not speculation. With regard to foreign policy, the Head of our state has demonstrated deep knowledge of the problems and challenges facing our country and understanding of ways to solve them, despite sanctions, provocations and refusal pressure. ” This opinion was expressed by a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Sergei Zheleznyak, commenting on the “Direct Line” of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Zheleznyak noted: “Russia will defend its national interests, using external pressure and restrictions as a resource for the development of its own economy. This emphasis in the President’s speech is addressed not only to Russians, but also to the world with which we want to interact constructively, building partnerships and trusting relationships. No threats, provocations or economic restrictions will become an obstacle for Russia to the progressive development of the economy and the strengthening of security. The world has long ceased to be unipolar and there are fewer and fewer of those who still operate in the outdated paradigm. ”
The politician added: “In modern conditions, requiring the collective responsibility of countries for a common future, only joint and trusting actions of states are able to preserve peace, provide people with decent living conditions, preserve the environment, and prevent an arms race. The disunity, which the apologists of the idea of domination over other countries are trying to impose on the world, causes a natural rejection among the peoples with sovereignty. Unfortunately, Ukraine has not been one of such countries for a long time, as our President said separately. And as Vladimir Putin especially emphasized, for us the people of Ukraine remain close and brotherly, despite the Russophobic-minded authorities of the Nezalezhnaya. We sincerely believe that the Ukrainian people will be able to return independence and sovereignty to their state. “
