The US Congress on Wednesday published the text of the bill, which involves the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation. US senators – Democrats and Republicans – on February 13 introduced a bill to the Congress, which, if adopted, would lead to serious new sanctions against the banking and energy sector of the Russian Federation, as well as against the Russian government debt. Sanctions are proposed to be introduced for “interfering in the elections in the United States”, “malicious influence in Syria” and for “aggression in Ukraine.” Moscow has previously repeatedly denied the charges on this topic.
The US Congress published a draft of new anti-Russian sanctions. Political analyst Natalia Makeeva believes that the only goal pursued by the United States is to eliminate the geopolitical opponent. She expressed her opinion on the radio Sputnik.
