Sergey Zheleznyak: “The US intention to increase the size of its military contingent in Poland is an attempt to demonstrate to Germany what happens when instructions from Washington are not followed”

“The US intention to increase the size of its military contingent in Poland is an attempt to demonstrate to Germany and other countries what happens when European politicians follow instructions from Washington.” This opinion was expressed by a member of the State Duma committee on international affairs, Sergei Zheleznyak.

According to the politician: “The United States is preparing to clash the interests of European countries in a favorite manner. Openly expressing dissatisfaction with Berlin, which obviously does not want to dance forever to the American tune, the White House deliberately favors Warsaw, hoping to settle even more reliably on the eastern borders of Europe. Obviously, neither the current American contingent nor the 2,000-man military force will strengthen Poland’s defense. It will only make the country more dependent on the United States, and, in fact, occupied by other people’s military. ”

“Losing support from traditional partners in Europe with their imperial manners and rude blackmail, the United States is looking for a weak link in the European home in the face of countries that are not ready for independent decisions and actions. Poland is turning into a puppet of the United States, both in economic and military-political terms. The upcoming visit of the Polish head to Washington will only consolidate the new status of the once independent state, ”the parliamentarian added.
