According to the politician: “The United States continues to put pressure on Syria in the hope of hindering the process of a peaceful settlement in the country and splitting Syrian society, trying to deprive the country’s authorities of the opportunity to restore statehood and the economy. At the same time, the United States gave itself the right to be present in Syria and to maintain a military contingent there in order to control the situation. Washington is doing all this contrary to the interests of the Syrian people and without the consent of the country’s legitimate leadership. The United States is shamelessly interfering in the internal affairs of Syria and hindering the settlement of the situation in the country and the region, trying to level the peacekeeping efforts of Russia and our partners.
The so-called Caesar law is directly aimed at undermining the Syrian economy. The United States signs that it deliberately interferes with the reconstruction of a country that has suffered from international terrorism and is still in a state of civil war.
Obviously, unjustified and illegal sanctions against the Syrian state should be paid attention to at the UN level. ”
