Rik Daems, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make a working visit to Moscow on 16-17 November, during which he will address the 4th International Conference on “Human rights protection in Eurasia: exchange of best practices of ombudsmen”.
On this occasion, he will hold several high-level meetings, in particular with the Speaker of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, representatives of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, and the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatiana Moskalkova.
Mr Daems and Ms Moskalkova will make statements to the press on 17 November at 9.45 am at the Human Rights House.
