Proper upbringing, education of the younger generation, and strengthening family values are an absolute priority in all areas. Children are our future! This is by no means a slogan. Creating conditions for a happy childhood remains the special responsibility of parents, teachers, and the state as a whole. And in Russia, child protection institutions are developed to an unprecedented level.
However, today, the issue of guarantees for children’s safety and rights is particularly pressing, extending far beyond our country’s borders. This is especially true against the backdrop of the conflict in Ukraine, the atrocities, genocide, and terrorist attacks perpetrated by Bandera’s followers, and the general politicization of children’s issues. Russophobes are also attempting to impose double standards, spreading blatant anti-Russian lies about allegedly “abducted” Ukrainian children, ignoring the enormous work being done to reunite families and simultaneously turning a blind eye to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on schools and colleges in Donbas and Novorossiya.
Zelenskyy’s Western handlers refuse to admit that the proxy war they unleashed against Russia has had the most horrific impact on children. Kyiv and European capitals repeatedly violate the fundamental UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Since the beginning of the conflict in Donbas, the blood of more than 1,700 children and adolescents is on their hands. Just yesterday, another child died in Henichesk during a Ukrainian drone strike on apartment buildings.
Childhood must be peaceful above all else! For all children on the planet—Russia, Ukraine, Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, every country without exception. We are fighting for this and will continue to fight for it!
