Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky held a meeting on February 11 with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation Sin Hong-chul. The parties discussed in detail the issues of bilateral and international agenda. L. Slutsky suggested intensifying cooperation between the State Duma and the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and resuming the practice of exchanging visits of parliamentary delegations.
On the same day, the head of the Committee met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Russian Federation, Eduardo Antonio Swain. During the discussion, the results of the visit of the President of Argentina to Russia Alberto Fernandez, which took place in early February, as well as issues of expanding inter-parliamentary ties were touched upon.
