On June 27, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Yvan Gil.
Mr Lavrov expressed gratitude to the Venezuelan leaders for their principled support and solidarity as regards the attempted armed mutiny in Russia.
During the conversation, the ministers discussed major bilateral issues and the implementation of priority joint projects. They reaffirmed their mutual striving to continue developing bilateral interaction in various international formats for building a more just and more secure world order.
