Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi began his visit to Russia with a meeting in the State Duma with members of the International Affairs Committee and the Friendship Group with the Iranian Majlis.
They discussed in detail bilateral cooperation, taking into account geopolitical factors, the situation in the Middle East, the development of interparliamentary ties, and interaction on international platforms. The entry into force of the Russian-Iranian strategic partnership agreement opens new opportunities for intensifying contacts between Moscow and Tehran in all areas: political, economic, humanitarian, and military-technical cooperation.
