Member of the Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Belik commented on the decision taken by the Russian authorities to blacklist 398 US congressmen.
In an interview with correspondents of the RT information portal, the parliamentarian said that the United States is methodically and systematically pursuing the political course they have chosen. At the same time, official Washington is avoiding a constructive dialogue with the Kremlin, Dmitry Belik stressed.
The deputy called the decision of the Russian government an “adequate response” to the next package of sanctions measures. Persons adhering to an anti-Russian position have nothing to do in Russia, summed up the official representative of the State Duma.
The Russian Foreign Ministry previously announced that 398 US congressmen had been blacklisted. This was Moscow’s response to a new wave of sanctions restrictions announced by the White House against 328 Russian parliamentarians.
