Washington’s participation in blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines is beyond doubt, but few people in the world dare to talk about it, said State Duma deputy from Sevastopol Dmitry Belik, RIA Novosti reports on February 8.
According to the legislator, Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh, in his article about explosions at the gas pipeline, only described what everyone already knew. Belik stressed that the problem is the policy of Washington, which does not shun political assassinations, sabotage and coup d’état.
“An American journalist voiced what the whole West knew about, but did not dare to say out loud. The true culprit of the Nord Stream bombing is obvious and has been known for a long time. Now they just made one of the performers public, ”said the deputy.
He added that one should not expect humanity and honesty from Washington, given the intensity of Russophobia that is now unfolding in the West. In this situation, Russia needs a victory in Ukraine as a guarantee of its own security.
Recall that at the end of September 2022, terrorist attacks occurred on two Russian gas pipelines in the EU. Official Washington denies any involvement in the sabotage, although before that, US President Joe Biden threatened to deal with Nord Stream.
